Adeyoola’s Crowdfunding Campaign

revolutionizing fashion with african craftmanship and sustainability

Adeyoola isn’t just a brand, it’s a movement towards a future where fashion is not only beautiful but sustainable and ethical. Born from the vibrant heart of Africa, Adeyoola brings to life the rich tapestry of African heritage through each meticulously crafted item. From the bustling artisan communities in Lagos to your wardrobe, we’re on a mission to transform fashion waste to wonders, using natural fibers and vegetable-tanned leather. But Adeyoola is more than it’s products; it’s about providing fair wages to artisans and contributing back to their communities. Join us in making fashion that tells a story, supports the environment, and uplifts communities. Let’s close the circle together.

Join the Movement: Bringing the “Ọdù” Collection to Life

At Adeyoola, we believe that fashion is more than just what you wear—it’s a powerful way to connect with your heritage, express your individuality, and make a positive impact on the world. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our latest project: the “Ọdù” Collection, a celebration of Nigerian culture and sustainable luxury. As we embark on this exciting journey, we invite you to join us by supporting our Kickstarter campaign, which is now live!

Our Story: A Blend of Heritage and Innovation

Founded in 2017 by Adeyoola Adenusi, our brand was born out of a passion for blending contemporary design with the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria. From the beginning, Adeyoola has been committed to creating high-quality, sustainable fashion accessories that tell a story—one deeply rooted in African traditions, yet resonant with modern global audiences. After years of crafting a brand that resonates with people who value both luxury and sustainability, we’re expanding our reach into the UK market. The “Ọdù” Collection is our first major step in this expansion, and with your help, we can bring these beautifully crafted pieces to life and share them with the world.

Introducing the “Ọdù” Collection

The “Ọdù” Collection is a tribute to the Yoruba culture, inspired by the sacred texts known as Ọdù Ifá. Each piece in this collection—whether it’s a pair of shoes, a bag, or a piece of jewelry—is a reflection of our commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship. We’ve used eco-friendly materials like Aso-Oke, Adire fabrics, and vegetable-tanned leather, incorporating them into timeless designs that are as functional as they are beautiful. But what makes the “Ọdù” Collection truly special is the story behind each piece. Every item is handcrafted by skilled Nigerian artisans, using offcuts and donated fabrics to ensure that nothing goes to waste. This means that every product is unique—no two pieces are exactly alike, and even pairs of shoes may have slight variations that add to their charm.

Why We Need Your Support

Although we’ve developed prototypes for each product in the “Ọdù” Collection, we haven’t yet begun full-scale production. That’s where you come in. Our Kickstarter campaign is designed to raise the funds needed to turn these prototypes into fully realized products. With a funding goal of £250,000, we’ve carefully planned every aspect of the production process to ensure that we deliver the highest quality items to our backers.
